ICYMI: Webinar with Asm. Chiu on future of Bay Area transit

On May 14, Seamless Bay Area and Assemblymember David Chiu hosted a webinar about the future of seamless transit in the Bay Area. Nearly 200 transit leaders, riders, and advocates tuned in to hear Seamless Bay Area co-founders Ian Griffiths and Adina Levin and Asm. Chiu discuss transit recovery planning and best practices, the new MTC Blue Ribbon Transit Recovery Task Force, and actions that advocates can take right now to support a stronger and more integrated transit system in the Bay Area.

As Asm. Chiu explained on the call, it would be a mistake to simply rebuild our existing fragmented transit system rather than use this opportunity to push for more resilient, connected, rider-friendly transit across the region.
