It’s been a long year, but supporters of a transformed Bay Area transit system have much to celebrate - from the launch of our region’s first all-agency transit pass, to a broader-than-ever coalition of elected leaders supporting a rider-first transit system.
We are pleased to be hosting our first major party in over two and a half years, Level Up Bay Area Transit on Friday, December 9th at 5:30pm at Intersection for the Arts (1446 Market St., San Francisco) to both raise a glass to successes - and raise funds to support the next phases of the movement for a rider-first transit system. Tickets are limited, so be sure to reserve your ticket ASAP:
We'll be joined by some of the region's most committed elected officials who have stood up for a seamless rider-first system, including:
State Senator Scott Wiener - author of SB 922 (bill expediting sustainable transportation projects like transit priority lanes), and co-author of seamless bills AB 2057, AB-629, and SB 917
San Francisco City Attorney David Chiu - author of prior seamless bills AB 2057 and AB 629 while he was a State Assemblymember
BART Board Vice President Janice Li, co-author of BART’s resolution supporting the Seamless Transit Principles and champion of integration at the BART board.
We expect to announce even more special guests as the event approaches!
Food and beverages will be provided, and a silent auction is planned - so be sure to bring friends, family, and fellow transit enthusiasts along for this fun event that supports our work!
