11/09/23: We’ve got events! Join us in San Jose on Nov. 16 and at our year-end party on Dec 7

Transit transformation is gaining headway in the Bay! Check out our November 16th San Jose event and our “Level Up Bay Area Transit” end-of-year-party on December 7th to get all the details. Additionally, check out these two pieces in SF Chronicle and KPIX highlighting Seamless Bay Area and our vision for the region’s transit network.

Want to see better public transit in the South Bay? Join us for this November 16th in-person event at CreaTV / Open San Jose (38 S 2nd St.) from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.

Learn about the exciting developments - and current challenges - of public transit transformation in our region, and how we can apply lessons learned from a recent study delegation to Switzerland –  including increasing the focus on the customer, promoting greater inter-agency coordination, and how to build the case for more funding for public transit.

Panelists:

  • Theodore Burgwyn, Director, Rail Network and Operations Planning at Caltrain

  • Cindy Chavez, Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, VTA/Caltrain/MTC Board of Directors

  • Ian Griffiths, Policy Director, Seamless Bay Area

December 7th, 5:30-7:30pm: Level Up Bay Area Transit – our end-of-year party

Join Seamless Bay Area and friends for an end-of-year party to celebrate incredible progress in creating a rider-first transit system, and to support the bright future of the rider-based movement for better transit in the Bay Area.

Around 6:30 pm, we'll hear from State Senator Scott Wiener – one of California’s most committed elected officials who has stood up for a seamless rider-first system – and Seamless Bay Area will outline the next steps in the movement towards "leveling up" Bay Area transit, including our advocacy priorities - and how you can support.

This event will raise funds for Seamless Bay Area - to help us level up our efforts in 2024 to advocate for a seamless transit system that works for everyone. Standard tickets are $45 in advance, or $50 at the door. The party will be held at Trellis in San Francisco, with food and beverages from Burma Love, and a silent auction - so bring your friends, family, and fellow transit enthusiasts along!

Donate $250 to our 2023 Fall Campaign to get a ticket AND our three exclusive, brand new donor gifts!
