Join Seamless Bay Area and State Senator Scott Wiener as we celebrate the launch of SB 1031, the Connect Bay Area Act. Come learn how you can support this important milestone for Bay Area transit and how you can help us sustain our work pushing for a 2026 regional ballot measure! Attendance is free but we encourage you to make a donation to help us in our efforts advocating for a seamless transit system that works for everyone. Light food and refreshments will be provided - so bring your friends, family, and fellow transit enthusiasts along!
Around 7:30pm we’ll hear from Senator Wiener and our other esteemed guest speakers of the night. Seamless Bay Area Co-Executive Directors Ian Griffiths and Adina Levin will share how reforms included in the bill will be crucial for creating a rider-first transit system for all Bay Area residents.
Read our blog post on why we strongly support this bill as a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform Bay Area transit.

In addition to these wonderful canvassing events, here are three actions you can take to support the Connect Bay Area Act:
Call or write your state legislators, urging them to support SB 1031.
Sign up here to speak up at your local transit agency board meetings when SB 1031 is being discussed, and express your support for the bill. Local elected officials and transit agency staff need to hear from riders. Key upcoming meetings include BART, VTA, Caltrain, MTC, SamTrans, and WETA.
Get organizations you are part of to submit support letters to the legislative portal, and to transit agencies in your area.
